Lol this sorta reminds me of something I did in Calif awhile back. We were at a mall (my daughter, a friend of the family and I) and a guy walked past us, going the opposite direction, he was wearing that mens cologne that SO drives me crazy. We did an immediate 360 turn around and followed behind, for a short while, just so I can smell that awesome fragrance. Of course, our friend teased me about it and to this day, my kids still wish Id have stayed hooked up with _________. They really liked him too, a lot.
But I let a career make my choice. Another story for another time.

ewww, ewww, start a new thread, lets talk about ol boyfriends...
So smell shopping I went. Bath and Body Works I ended up again ...my new smell is ... hmm, Sweet Amber? Sensual Amber? something like that... it's amber though!! And it smells really really good. I tried that moonlight path one that was mentioned earlier in the thread too, very light and airy and clean and whispy... I liked the japaneese looking cherry blossom one a LOT too, ALMOST got that.. but Amber it is, because it mixes with my vanilla bean noel that I still have a TON of.
Just a random update, hehe. Does anyone else wear the cherry blossom one, or the cotton one that I was talking about earlier? or am I alone in my ventures of smelling in toxicating!! ^_^
Actually Bath and Body Works is a great place for body sprays and lotions. But theres a place I used to go to and dont know if it exists anywhere else, where the frangrances are oil based, not alcohol. The scent lasts so much longer. Just wish I could rememeber the name, it'll come back eventually...maybe once I have my coffee.

axiously leaning against a wall, looking at watch and tapping my foot...
did ya remember yet? WHAT? MORE COFFEE? ohhhh ok....
someone hook up the IV to L_A_woman ... woman, what was it called? I stay away from perfumes on purpose just because they are alchohol based... but oil? ooo ooo where!!
Its called the Body Shop! I had to put a post in the Phoenix forum in here and ask, lol, but someone had the answer.
I loved the smell of tha place, but its a real close tie with Bath and Body Works.
I don't have anything of my ex boyfriend anymore, but, every time I smell "Lagerfelt" cologne, I am about to get sick..........and memories come back.
Unfortunately, not good ones....

Favorite smell..clean baby.
I always buy a different perfume on vacation, so when I smell it it reminds me of the place and the vacation.
Every time I smell certain smells they take me right back to the past... English leather, the 60's (first husband), and there's a certain smell that I catch once in a while that smells like the lobby of my grandparents apt building.
My woman likes Angel perfume, and thats what I always buy her. Now, early on, she told me how she has always really loved that particular scent, and spoke of how her now ex-husband always liked her to wear that brand. It doesnt bother me at all, which brand she chooses. But, some time back, I was in a dept. store and caught a whiff of a womans perfume in the check out aisle. It was the same exact scent of a girl that I had dated over two decades ago. I didnt know the name of it then, nor do I now. But this girl from back then, she was one of my "loved and lost" type people. That is I lost. So for me, as far as scents and memories go, I think it matters greatly how much I cared about the girl. I dont recall ever dating anyone before who wore Angel, but even if I had, I dont think it would matter one way or the other to me.
