Most chicks I know give this answer when asked their height requirement for a dude. This thread, however, is asking what height is ideal.
I'm not knocking your answer, just wondering if you had the clarification between "ideal" and "required" in mind when you gave it. There are plenty of women out there who would give an average "Joe Schmoe" a chance, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't prefer a good-looking guy who is built like Sylvester Stallone.
Do you really mean to say that a 5'3" guy is just as ideal to you as a guy closer to 6 feet?

A little bit, but once again this isn't about requirements. Most women are like you and don't have any height requirement other than the dude being taller than they are. Considering the average female is only about 5'5" and plenty are shorter, that doesn't leave many dudes being excluded from the dating pool on account of height.
This thread is about what is ideal. Surely you have a picture in your head of your "ideal" man. Maybe he looks like Sylvester Stallone, maybe Jason Statham, or Vin Diesel. But you could conjure up a mental picture of your "perfect" man just like I can of my "perfect" chick.

I can relate. I'm 6'2" but my arms and legs are the equivalent of someone a couple of inches taller than me. Very few cars are comfortable, pants shopping is horrible. and airplane rides are the most uncomfortable couple of hours one can experience.

Yeah, I can't find any pants I like either. 31 waist with a minimum 34 length. Some brands I'm a 36 length. I'm fine with a 32 waist as long as I wear a belt, but I can't go any bigger than that. The problem is when I gained weight, it was muscle and it went to my upper body. My lower body wasn't touched.

Not gay for sure, but I can't see how chicks could find any dude more appealing than Sylvester Stallone.
The dude is in ridiculous shape (and he's 65!), proportioned, symmetrical, tan, etc. He's extremely well built and defined, which all chicks should like, but he's not an overdone muscle-bound freak like Schwarzenegger in his prime. Dude is ridiculously intelligent, too -- he wrote, directed, AND starred in the Rocky movies as well as The Expendables.
I have no interest in seeing him or any other dude naked, but considering the first movie he did back the 1970s was an adult film, the guy is probably packing, too!
I hit the gym five days per week and I consider Stallone to have the ideal physique that we should all be shooting for. Most other dudes in the gym who aren't bloated bodybuilder types with back-ne feel the same way.
I tend to notice men who are around 6'3" or taller, but being that I'm 6'1", I mostly see the tops of folks' heads.
