You know, that Thanksgiving thing irks me, too.
I mean, I want to sit around and watch football, too.
But you can't sit comfortably as a woman while other women whisk around you doing all the work.
But I have never seen a guy look uncomfortable or like he felt like he should be helping.
In the same vein, when we have potlucks at work, it's usually the women who bring 90% of the food. The IT guys will swoop in and eat all of it, but they never bring anything, and it doesn't seem to occur to them to do so. I don't eat anything if I haven't contributed anything.

That's exactly how I feel. Whenever I see the women bustling about to cook or clean up (and it's always the women), I would feel so awkward if I just sat and watched TV, like I'm not doing my fair share (especially if I finish my tasks early).
It was probably just an off-handed term he was using. His wife probably says it to when she takes care of the kids.
Yeah, right. I dont think Ive ever heard a mother say she cant do something because she has to "babysit" her kids. She will say she has to take care of her kids or she cant find a babysitter.

What? Guys go out with their buds all the time, they just dont call it going out. They go to the bar, golf, watch the game, lunch, shop, movies, strip joints, etc.
Im not real familiar with women's hospitals but Im guessing they specialize in OB/GYN. Face it, the penis just isnt as high maintanance nor does it generate the high volume revenue.

Sure they do. It's called "male bonding time" and the gf usually gets shafted for that
There are many women's hospitals because well, do men have to get annual paps? Are their reproductive organs as difficult to examine as women's?
Why dont women in the military have to shave their heads but men do?
Men in the military don't have to shave their heads. If you mean bootcamp, the Navy has some fairly stringent requirements for females that are about as close to the males as you'll find; Army/AF, not so much.
Women can dance with other women but straight men dancing with other men is seen as strange.
Men chaperoning field trips for their children or volunteering to help non-sports related school events are treated like superheroes. Moms are just expected to do it.
(as for men 'babysitting' their own children, I've gone off on my BIL for saying that. You don't 'babysit' your own child)
