That's weak on his part. Who's his favorite author, Nicholas Sparks? That kiss better be somewhere further south than the lips if I'm driving 54 miles!
My BF lives 54 miles from me...door to door. I see more of him that I have seen of any previous guys I dated, which have all lived within 20 miles or so. He told me once he'd make the drive just for one kiss.
If it's right between you, 60 miles won't impede things.
Chessie has "Kisses sweeter then wine".
My girlfriend lives two mountains over. I take the backroads.
The question is not whether "WE" think 60 miles is too far.
The question is whether "YOU" think it's too far.
If you find yourself attracted, than no distance is too far.
Exactly...
I am dating someone whom resides 160 miles away..
He lives in the valley I live on the coast...So for him it is like a getaway from the heat...lol..
He does not mind driving, has family and friends here that he visits while I am at work on Fridays...so it has worked out thus far..
However he has stated that while he does not mind driving to see me, he wants more, to see me more but it is willing to see where this takes us and if it goes well he is willing to relocate...

If you dated someone who lived 60 miles away would you consider that an impediment to spending adequate time with the other person?
Probably so.
Depends on if it is closer to work or not.
That sort of pragmatism WILL come to the surface eventually.
Knowing such is the case... why open yourself up to aggravation?
