I would strongly prefer a woman of at least 5 feet, although I wouldn't say it's an absolute dealbreaker. Under say 4'9" or something though I would seriously be having second thoughts (sorry to all you horizontally challenged ladies!). That also applies to women who have conditions and whatnot. Anything over 6'2" or something is also a bit tall considering my own height.

As for marriage, though, I think a woman slightly shorter than me or my height might be alright. Since I'm not the tallest guy in the world (about 5'9"), if we had kids and a son at that I could expect him to be taller than myself at least.

For the poll I'm not talking about an "Ideal", just asking if a man would exclude a woman based on height.
Did I not answer that? I think I was pretty clear about my preferences - I didn't say anything about an "ideal". And while I may have dated some of the taller and shorter during the same time period, that was not usually the case. When the tallest one wore spike heels, she was quite a sight!

As long as the top of her head is not below my nipples, and she's less than a head taller than me. (I'm 6'4) So i guess that's anywhere beteen 5 and 7'? (I'm not good with the feet/inches system)

Well, I'm 5'10", so, I wouldn't date a woman 6' or over (no offense to any women who are though.)

I'm a firm believer in not saying you would or wouldn't do something (as far as dealbreakers go) until you have been there. I have never met a taller woman who was a potential date so I don't know on that end. On the short side my wife was 5'2" so that is pretty small next to me but wasn't a deal breaker obviously. This kind of speaks to the bottom line. For me if sparks fly all bets are off.

I have only dated two women that were the same height I am 5"11 never had a problem with it. My soon to be ex is 5"5ish. MY Gf is 5"1.
It's not a deal breaker if the girl is my height or not or even taller then me. I do however like the feeling when I wrap my arms around a women & her head comes to about the middle of my chest. I can't explain why excatly, but I do like that feeling.

I'm 6'5", so height definitely mattes to me. Every time I've dated a woman under 5'5", the physical side of the relationship was extremely awkward. So, nowadays, I won't even date anyone shorter than 5'5". My ideal woman is at least 5'10", but I so rarely find anyone that tall that I have to settle for shorter women.

So Loa, you would be ok with a woman who was 4'6" as long as she was hot? How about a 7 footer? No limit whats so ever?
Isn't under 4'10 generally considered a "little person"?
He said no dwarfs...
