My hubby, and bf I lived with before, we had separate bedrooms. And lots of sex .
We slept together about half the time, sometimes all the time. But I like a lot of space to myself and I choose partners who are the same. It's good to have a place to be alone when you want to.
He gained 10 lbs and started snoring. Refused to lose the weight. Rather slept on the guest mattress in other room for 3 years. I hated it. Missed him deerly. Earplugs and nose strips didnt do the job.
I didn't get married to sleep alone.
We are separated now - there was obviously more than just the snoring.
I will never ever be with somebody who sleeps in a different room.
When my SIL went through menopause, she would break out in huge sweats around 3 a.m. My brother said sweat would just pour off her. And obviously, she had trouble sleeping. The tossing and turning was disruptive. So my brother kicked her out. She's been sleeping in one of the kids' bedrooms ever since (they're empty-nesters). Still has trouble sleeping. Sometimes separate bedrooms can save a marriage.
Divorce rates would decrease dramatically if most couples slept in different bedrooms.
I agree with this.
I cant sleep in the same bed as a man (or anyone for that matter).
