**Can see what needs to be done. Doesn't need to be told that their shoes are in the middle of the floor, their dish or beer cans need to be picked up, the lawn needs to be mowed, the baby needs to be changed, the faucet needs to be fixed, and doesn't whine or get pi$$y if they're asked to do something that needs to be done. Responsible!

Boys:
no job
no manners

**Makes lame excuses and blames others for their failures

**Always puts others down, in a feeble attempt to make themselves look better, constantly compares themselves to others.

**Has to be asked to pick up after themselves and can't seem to manage to initiate doing anything (other than watching tv or playing video games). Whines or gets pi$$y when they're asked to do something or told that something needs to be done. Irresponsible! They think they're being treated like a child when this happens. (well DUH!)
Great list and synopsis!

Hmm...now ya got me thinkin'......

Should I change my screen name to 'DrummerMan"?
Perhaps my current username is a sort of Freudian allusion on my part that hints at the fact that I am forever enmeshed in a self-centered quagmire of eternal youth. A true member of the "Peter Pan Club." A man-boy beset with juvenile tendencies? Perhaps I should, as St. Paul once said, "put away childish things" and join the grown-up world?

Naahhh, screw that noise, amigos.

Pretty deep self analysis there
" Drummerman" just doesn't have the same ring to it

Point a loaded gun at him.

If he wets his pants and cries, he's still a boy. If he spits his chaw at you and tells you to (**** off/come get some/etc.), you've found a man.

I think that SMP has ever made an "inflammatory" post. He is one of the few level headed common sense having folks here. Nothing argumentative about his post. I would also like to get some examples from you of what you mean by "boy" and "man".

I'll add one more thing, because of a rep comment I received.... you can basically change the labels, from men to women and boys to girls!

Even though he was kind of an imperialist and a racist, I think Kipling had a good notion of what makes a man (and a woman, too): Poems - If--

I'm saying in other posts he's had lengthy arguments w/ others...it gets redundant to see the same people trying to create drama where there is none. And as for boys or men there are some good examples already up here; take a loook at what's been posted
