It's an interesting hypothetical, but I think supports my position even more.

While you and I might think a person is a pile of scum for judging their partner because they slept with someone of a different race, it is indeed their decision to make and they have the freedom to hold that view.

On the other hand, knowing about your partner's sexual history (and presumably, they know about yours) gives you more information to make about that partner. Suppose everything was clicking with your partner, one day you both decide to spill the beans about your sexual pasts, and you tell him or her that you have slept with someone of a different race or the same gender... and they are the ones who have a problem with it.

Would you then think the same of that person?

Wow. If I was that closed minded, I would be disgusted by every guy ive ever dated.



All of the men ive dated have slept with white women before me.

The thought that someones race would offend someone sexually is a bit funny.

I personally think it as more to do with insecurities.

If your a short white man with a smaller-than-average penis and the last guy your girlfriend ****ed was a big [In every way] black guy, the problem would probably be with your security more than the actual race of the other person.

But men feel that way regardless of race. Penis envy kills.

If black guys dont make you insecure there will be no problem.

Same with me, white women dont scare me, so its not an issue.

In reality... I think it does matter to us all.

my husband met his first wife b/c he was sleeping with her sister. apparently he and the sister just had the sexual connection which eventually ended. but by then he was friends with her family. it was her family that encouraged him to go after the other sister. they ended up married.
I guess they thought that was fine; to me, that would be weird.

yes, who they slept with would matter to me.
would it be a deal breaker? perhaps not, but it would matter and may need to be discussed farther.

Less than 5; I'm older than 30. All long term relationships.
