I'm in Anchorage under subpoena to possibly testify Thursday. I am to be run in front of various groups tomorrow the purpose being if they can figure out whether my testimony will hurt more than it helps based on their agenda. They were kind enough to put me up in the Hilton which in Anchorage is about the equivalent to a lower 48 Holiday Inn. About the nicest hotel here though and they agreed to cover my food AND bar tab. As God is my witness the bastards will pay for making me take this journey with that bar tab...

Today they will listen to what I have to say and decide whether I can aid their cause or not. I cannot be compelled to lie. Depending on what the lawyers decide I could be released from subpoena or I may be at their beck and call for a few days. I cant imagine it taking more than that. It was the most boring work I have ever done and my part in it was simply running the boat, I did not have any part in the collection data or its interpretation.

Is the Hilton the one with the really nice restaurant high up? I love Anchorage! I'm sorry that you didn't want to go - but at least it's a neat place to go! There are some great restaurants and the views are gorgeous! Good luck with all the other crap that you have to do!
