If you don't like cheese it doesn't have to have any, or just different cheese lol.

You grow your own produce?

Nope, not bad at all. And if you become a flight nurse with a good service, my understanding is that you'd be working the same hours, doing pretty much the same job (drugs you can give are slightly different) but be getting paid $10k a year more than I would be (and that's ASN OR BSN.)

I've decided that if I do well enough with that, I might stay with a flight medic service or try going to medical school, which would be far easier to do after being in the field for a while and having more of the basic knowledge than if I was just going in blind and with a degree like English.

The advisors at the big state university here even told me that.

Yes. I live on almost an acre. Lots of veggies, even corn, and one year I grew wheat.

Most I've ever grown was green beans and tomatoes.

It's all basically the same. If you can grow one, you can grow another. My cantaloupe last year were the best I've ever had!

Yes but to be a flight nurse I'd have to be able to fly. Either that or I'd be using the xanax on myself! lol

Congrats. As a prepper myself my Husband and I are working on being self reliant.

I still can't manage to get eggplant to grow. I managed it one year but they weren't as big and plentiful as they should have been.

They are a heat loving crop and I planted them a bit too early. A late spring frost killed all but three of the plants and fruit that did develop wasn't the best.

Eggplants are a fruit right? Along with tomatoes I always considered them a fruit. Maybe I am wrong?
