Ok, that's funny!
We bought the Shark steam mop and one of attachments is for wood floors, looks kind of like a dust mop. We don't have wood floors though.
For that much labor I would expect you be the dish the cheescake is served upon. (Damn, I need to write that one down)
You laugh but I have to clean in stealth mode. If he sees me spray windex on the front door I may as well not even clean it. Same with the cleaner for the stainless...LOVES to lick that too. I don't know, maybe because it all smells like citrus or something??
Oh trust me, you don't want me to be the dish! lol
That's because you bother to clean it! Grout is just meant to get darker...
lol, probably true. In our master bath we have white tile and white grout though, so the dirt is really noticable if I don't scrub it with a toothbrush every so often.
Yeah, I guess it depends on the location. I've only lived here and shortly in CA and people have only tile. Tile is cold in the winter, though. Maybe that's the reason it's not popular in colder states.
Nah, that's not it we just have more imagination on the east coast.

Slabs will tend to stay warmer than a floor with a crawl space. Our place has stained concrete and the floor stays comfortable to the feet year round.

White tile... Crazy people! You pick a neutral color, preferably even with some speckles and random patterns, that looks just like dirt!

Oh, yeah! Hardwood floors are such a novelty! Heck, even I'm not that fond of the tile in the winter... You'll freeze your sorry as@es off!

How urban. I like stained concrete. I like it for counters too but couldn't convince my husband of that. Couldn't convince him of soapstone either so we put granite in *yawn*
