Mine survived but I was cleaning out my purse and looked at my ticket and didn't realize she had kids on board as well (her husband was in Michigan awaiting her arrival). I tossed the ticket already so now I'm wondering if her kids survived or not. They were 3rd class passengers so very lucky indeed!
Did you see the 1st class room rates and what they would have gone for in today's dollars? I think the basic was $57K and if you chose a multi-room suite it was $103K for the trip. Amazing!!!!
I was going to get some things cooking today but it just didn't happen. I got caught up organizing our attic and 3rd floor and getting rid of a lot of crap up there. It's only the 6 of us so I can just cook it all tomorrow. Plenty of time still!
