I'm trying to take a day or two each week to not eat meat. Nothing to do with politics or ethics or religion or...... whatever.
Pretty much meat is expensive. Trying to shave a few bucks out of the food budget.
I still make red meat and pork for the family, I just don't partake.
Last night they had sliders (that I hadn't made the other night). We did oven potatoes and veggie sticks so I just ate the potatoes, veggie sticks and had a salad.

Well, be sure to include some kind of protein source.... that is the problem with people who do try and eat a vegetarian lifestyle, you really have to pay attention to the combinations of food.
Too many carbohydrates in one setting will cause blood sugar spikes, hence the Chinese food jokes we've all heard over the yrs.
