I know! I was lectured about that at my physical because I came up anemic again.
However, I had just given blood the week before and my iron was fine then.
I need to add more protein sources but I can't eat soy. Sometimes I feel like a train wreck! lol

She suggested I not donate blood every 2 months because I don't recover quick enough, or to take an iron supplement daily.

I do have to watch my carbs though too...I'm "at risk" for type 2 and my fasting has been creeping. What I really need to do is cut out more carbs and lose about 15lbs.

On the plus side though, all my cholesterol readings were stellar, my BP was 108/62 and my pulse was 52

I've been lucky. Had surgery for my wisdom teeth, and had a surgery to remove some growth from my left eye when I was a child.

I was a hyper pirate when I was a wee lass! lol

I've been going willy nilly on the carbs lately... breads, rice, pasta..... I gotta get that in check. I usually try and follow a "lower" carb diet.... I just try and stay away from the refined stuff like sugar and try and avoid eating to many of the "good" veggies such as corn and potatoes, peas.... LOL, I eat them but I makes sure to have a protien to go with them... helps slow down the absorption.

A friend and I have this conversation often...those are not veggies in my house. They are starches.

I remember the dentist told me I should have the wisdom teeth pulled before they give me any problems.
Right.

I often hear old timers refer to them as such.

Right.
I had mine out. The bottom two were impacted and then got infected...that was miserable. I had to wait for the infection to clear before they could take them out and I told them to do all 4 since I was never going to come back again! lol
