-42 Years old

-I am a virgin

-Not religious...I am an Atheist

-I do not live with my mom, I own my own home and live alone with my dog

-Childfree by choice

-Work in the computer industry and I make good money

-I am not gay, I am a Heterosexual

-I have never been abused, raped, etc.

-Never been married/dated/etc.

I have had plenty of opportunities to have sex, but I turned them all down. I find the idea of any kind of sex repulsive and gross. Am I the only guy who finds sex repulsive? Why do people make fun of me? I am not sure why society finds me "weird". In some countries across the world, being a virgin is a good thing and is respected. Someone also told me not too long ago that I may be...."Asexual".

Please.....mature and nice answers only. Thanks.

Of course you're not the only person this way, and I don't think anyone should be mocked for personal choices that have no bearing on anyone's existence. You sound like you are asexual.

How do you know its repulsive, without having given it a chance and tried it?
Thats like saying I find beer repulsive without having never tried it.

I don't think you should be made fun of. I do wonder if you have a sex drive though? Do you want emotional or verbal intimacy with a woman?

Lol. The idea sounds repulsive to him. There are things you don't have to try but you know would be repulsive (I can think of a million gross things right now.)

I don't buy it. He needs to meet a woman or three, where the chemistry is there and try it before jumping to conclusions. Then and only then after the experience can he say whether he finds it repulsive or not.
