My son, on the other hand, does have a 'success story'. When they were in their 20s he dated a girl and they ended up having a baby girl together. Her father didn't like my son, at all, and convinced his daughter to 'dump him'. So, for the next 30+ years they lived their lives and didn't stay in touch. Then, a couple of years ago, he found his daughter on Facebook and contacted her. She put him in touch with her mother and they've been together ever since. The daughter, however, is NOT happy about it which makes me wonder why she put them in touch. This is my sons only child so it's sad but maybe one day she'll come around. She has three little boys so he has grandkids he'd like to get to know too, not to mention they are MY great grkids!

Or is that just Hollywood
I have couple of friends went back to their exes. I can't do it, I think ex is an ex for a reason.

If he/she was the love of your life? what is the reason for a break up? Makes no sense to me. I can only speak for myself anyway.
