I met my 2nd husband at work. We were both new at the same time - only I was married (unhappily) - the next year after our divorce was final He asked me out. Together ever since 17 years on 11/26
I got irrationally snippy. Absolutely NO offense taken. It was a fair comment for what I posted. I probably would have posted the same thing!

We met when I tripped and fell into his lap.

I was holding a birthday cake at the time and managed to save it when he saved me.

I will never forget the twinkle in his eye and the grin on his face when all I could think of to say was "would you like a piece?"

"Would you like a piece?" should be needle-pointed on a pillow in your house.

I met my wonderful wife a little over 43 years ago as a serviceman in a very small dusty west Texas town. In a month and a half we will celebrate our fortieth anniversary.
