It's for fun and yes I believe some of it. Being a Virgo I do crave knowledge. I'm moody. But yes not all is true. My sign says shy. I'm not. Healthy food fanatic.....eh I try sometimes.

But other factors are added. I have Capricorn Moon. They are strong people. Yet need their time alone. That's me.

And if you are rolling your eyes at me, you are not a open minded person. And maybe if you try it, a lady might like some of your things your interested in. Hmmmmm......

I roll my eyes often.

Out of curiosity, I decided to look up the traits attributed to my sign, which is Aries. One or two of the traits were spot on, but the rest were way off. In fact they were laughably inaccurate. Then I read the traits for all the other signs, and each one had some traits that fit me perfectly and others that were nothing like me. I started reading the traits that should correspond with other people I know, and the results were mostly the same as for me. There were a few exceptions, most notably my mom's sign (which actually was pretty darn accurate, but not 100%), but for the most part every person I thought of has some traits that fall under every sign.

And I heard that in cultures in Asia, personality compatibility is matched by year of birth and blood type! So apparently, compatibility matching by useless facts is not limited to American women; it's global.

Whenever I'm asked these silly questions, I have to put on my best face and pretend to take them seriously even though in my mind I'm thinking "God, not this again!!!!!! What answer do I have to give to get to home plate"

What's wrong with them asking your sign? At least they're expressing interest. I think you'd score points for actually knowing a little something about their signs as well. Research a little, can't hurt

There's definitely some truth in the personality traits of the zodiac. I don't believe in horoscopes; but I know for a fact the personality descriptions are pretty accurate. Every type that my sign said I'd be good with, worked out well

Haha, i am kind of obsessed with it. I will ask random people what month they were born in and go ahh "you're a _____" and then I start telling them their traits and their likes and dislikes. It's so sad but way too funny.

Default Seems Obvious

When Cosmo (or Ladies Home Journal) provides you with a list of 650 things that a husband must have and you cannot find a candidate with more than 500, it's time to leave your decision in the hands of fate.

Find a good looking guy with the right sign. Only fails 50% of the time!

I would just take it in stride when a woman asks about your sign. You can even tell her you don't follow it much and ask what your sign means. It could start a nice conversation about your personality and whether you think it matches astrologically.

I personally think Astrology is a little silly, but it can be fun. I doubt these girls are not going to date you just because of your sign and if any one of them does, she's probably not worth it anyway.

This is definitely not something worth getting angry over.
