We only make the bed when we have company who might want to see the bedroom. And our dog sleeps with us. It works for us! We're happy and that's all that matters!

Wow I'm surprised at how many people don't make their beds. This would have been a good poll.

I was just wondering the same thing.

I prefer a made bed. And I ADORE fresh bed linens.

I thought those were just what you left on guest beds...

damned throw pillows, I hate them. they take up valuable space that real pillows could occupy.
Yup. I love a beautiful bed. I totally enjoy walking into my bedroom, seeing the bed, and just going....ahhhhhhhhhh....

Most people in Eastern Europe and Germany will have two single duvets on a double bed so each person gets their own.
I use top sheets AND a duvet. As does my son. And neither of us can stand sheets that are less than 300 thread count. Yes, we are bed snobs.

I make my bed a few times a week maybe. I'm not impressing anyone but myself and it sleeps just fine whether or not it's made. The only important factor for me is clean sheets, which I do wash weekly.

But no, I've never heard of hospital corners, and from that video, I could have gone another 29-30 years without hearing about them. Too much crap to only use a few hours a day.
My BF was in the Marines, and learned how to make a bed so taut you could bounce a quarter off of it. I love a man that knows how to make a bed!

No kidding. UGH. If there isn't a top sheet on the bed, I'm not sleeping in it!!

LOL. I would NEVER make my bed if I lived alone. Fortunately, my wife is the bed maker. Seriously, only time I would ever make my bed is if I had company coming over and that company could possibly get a peak in my room.
