Huh?

Did I miss something?

Divorce is now a cause for celebration?

I thought divorce was bad?

Unless the OP was in an abusive marriage?

You have to look at the totality of the marriage before drawing your conclusion. If there is cheating or abuse those are the two reasons for divorce that make divorce desirable. If there is further dishonesty and no one wants to resolve the conflict it also makes divorce a viable discourse.

In situations stated above, divorce is a celebration of a new beginning. It is celebration to be free of a person who does not love the way a spouse should be loved. It is celebration of peace and happiness. The list for reasons to celebrate goes on and on depending on the person who is happy that the marriage is over. In some situations, staying married is much worse than divorce.
