I think women are more abt to display their feelings whereas men are structured at a young age to show no emotion. Sad but true and I think age tends to even that out a little.

Yeah..

I had the bank teller ask me if I was in last week.

She said in a singing tone, "I would have wished you a happy birthday. Oh and a Merry Christmas too! I guess I will just get them all out to you. Have a nice Holiday."

Really? Is it that big a deal? I just wanna get out of this drive thru lane lady.

I guess that is the more exciting that I was thinking of.

Yeah some of them tend to get all excited over silly things like a new hairstyle, or how grown women squeal girlishly when you creep up on them or pick them up or something. Not all do that, but it's seen as a 'feminine' thing. You should see Japanese women...basically say anything in Japanese and they will respond as if you are telling them the secret of life or something.

Probably because as girls they are raised a bit differently than boys. They are, on the whole, raised to expect and encounter much more beauty in life than males. But when reality hits them and prince charming doesn't walk right up to them it throws their emotions and expectations for a loop. So every disappointment they encounter hits them much harder than men and every happy moment is the illusion of the "happily ever after" dream they were raised to expect coming true. This makes their emotional reactions swing a little bit wider than males.

But its hard to argue even that when you see how men act with sports. I'm a man and I've never understood the obsession with sports. To me its just a stupid game and it doesn't matter.

People in general are just petty and dramatic over stupid things.
You make a statement, prove yourself wrong, and yet still wish to make the generalization.

@ the OP- Sports, road rage, assault, general all around idiocy are hallmarks of male behavior that fall under the umbrella of excitable. You all know this and yet you are compelled to either start threads or assert your foolishness via responses in these threads. I'm not sure why that is. The only thing that comes to mind is stupidity, but maybe there's more to it?

Good lord . What decade, or rock, did you crawl out from under? My parents did not raise me in this manner. Prince Charming......pffffft. Are you for real?
