The rape scene with the stripper is no picnic, either.

And speaking of, for those men who want to see the glamorous Russian babes, go to a strip joint on Long Island. You'll see how "glamorous" a lot of them really are.

I say the OP should go for it! I only know people I "suspect" to be mail order brides. One got her engineering degree and then divorced her American husband, the ohter I met at a wedding. I know a lot of nerds, and the woman was "gorgeous" and did not speak any English LOL and the husband was really dorky, and seemed a little embarassed...like he though we were all thinking "mail order bride." But honestly, I don't think anyone cared.

But who cares, if you like a person then marry. It is better than marrying an "unattractive" woman and disrespecting her by drooling over pornography w/ these selfsame women in it. If you can have the woman you really desire, then I say go for it.

But seriousness aside, the thread reminds me of the Little Britain TingTong skits. Totally NOT PC and NOT for kids, but I almost choked up a kidney at the following when Tingtong meets Ivanka:

Well, first of all, there's been a shortage of men in Russia ever since WW2. Second, they're known drunkards.

I don't like Vincent Cassel largely due to that movie. I almost hate him, like Ralph Fiennes from Schindler. That means he played the part so well, but still... I don't like both these guys in other movies They always look weird and repulsive to me

Where all your knowledge came from?
Coming across men who were at the receiving end of mail order brides. There's a code in the NY-CT-NJ tri-state area. Avoid Russian/Eastern European men. Good samaritans gave "me" the same piece of advice even.

There is a huge "benefactor-beneficiary" culture over here, especially in Queens and Brooklyn, where Eastern European women are taken care of by men in return for their services, citizenship weddings and the like... it's dirty business. Imagine a person sitting at home and leeching off of the money of another person entirely in return for bed time.

If you want to own Russian wife / fiancee / girlfriend, it is best to apply to marriage agencies audited or looking at sites of "social networks" something like vkontakte.ru

P.S.
sorry for my English writing using online translator
I like'em thicker. Yum!

I know a lot of American women that marry... and divorce... and collect houses, and alimony. Kinda like a hobby, for some
So, I am not so sure if that is only a Russian way to live. I think they learned it somewhere

I wouldn't ever do it, but you never know how they could work out. I'd say majority are just searching for a visa.. but honestly who cares? Any guy on there looking to marry a girl from her picture probably isn't any less shallow. If you're looking for a true love, don't search the internet and get married before meeting..

If you call it " "benefactor-beneficiary culture" then it sounds more like a mutual agreement.
Do you think that American men don't know what will happen when they "order" a bride from some "exotic" country like Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan etc.? This is not a well kept secret ...
Are they so naive?

There are plenty of similar agreements between people from other countries, like:
American woman seeking EU man for mutual citizen benefits:

British male seeking a American woman for mutual marriage benefits of citizen ship:

I am from India, and looking for only CANADA/ USA Citizen Female to get Marry for Citizenship,
I am form Bangladesh and want to marry a sincere canadian/uk lady for immigration purpose

etc... etc...
