I'm actually a little surprised this thread was unlocked. I'm smart enough to see how offensive this might be to some people but, on the other hand, I have a shameless enough sense of humor to find it pretty funny as well.

This thread really depresses me in that any time someone mentions a woman has an odor it's always "oh no she smells like fish, it's her vagina! She should douche! I bet she has vaginitimitus! I read about it in a book that was on tv on that show reality tv!

There really is a lot of belittlement on a woman and her vagina, people seem to be so damned repulsed by it, but do you have any idea how vile an odor the male genitals can produce? Don't act like male genitalia smells of sunshine and flowers. Society and it's stupidity say a woman should douche and do other stupid things when it isn't necessary and actually more harmful then doing nothing. Using too much soap in the shower can irritate the vagina. Bubble bath can cause infection in the vagina. Most of the time it is NOT the vagina that has an odor but rather the labia majora/minora due to oils/sweat and a simple shower/bath will wash away any offending odor.

What a stupid thread.

By the way if you have an odor, chances are you won't notice it, it's something your brain blocks out after a while.

It's amusing but I don't find it offensive. We are talking bodily smells here, which is always a borderline topic. Ive become a little better educated reading the thread.

Lets see, what I learned:

1) Alcohol can make a person smell bad
2) Diabetes can have a similar effect
3) Vaginosis it not necessarily sexually transmitted
