Does anyone else have this thing with names when looking a partner?

The name Stephanie or any variation of that name is an instant no go. I have yet to meet someone with that name that has a good disposition.

Actually I do have a thing with names, as well. There are appx. a dozen names I automatically know I will not get along with, male & female. I thought it was kind of quirky, but I've talked to others who agree- especially with those names

Not that it's a show-stopper, but yes, I do believe names affect personality.

hmmmmm. I guess I don't have a thing with names.

Never thought about it much, so I guess it doesn't bother me, but it makes sense and is quite interesting to think about.

Not really. I think it woul feel weird dating someone with the same name as my mother or one of my sisters. That's just me.

Haven't had to deal with this being married for so long, but there are certain names that would have me running the other way if I were single.
