There's a difference between getting an STD because your SO cheated, and getting an STD through casual sex. If it's the former, I can sympathize. If it's the latter, then no sympathy from me whatsoever.

I don't necessarily disagree with AC's reluctance to get into a relationship with someone that has an incurable STD. Herpes isn't exactly a minor STD. There's a difference between a sore on your mouth and one on your junk. The first isn't painful, it's annoying at worst. The latter is most certainly painful. But, what I do have a problem with is his houlier than thou attitude. STDs do not discriminate. Educated, rich, and intelligent people get them just as much as uneducated, poor, and unintelligent people.

Had herpes since I was 18, don't put it with HIV, def not the same thing. And it def won't kill you. It's just a little bit of a nuisance once in a while.
