Easy now. There's alot of hispanic welfare single mothers in my neighborhood.

That's true. However, the numbers drop significantly for those that are working and educated. That is not true for black women.

yeah, just have to look at places like mott haven, east tremont or morris heights which are predominantly hispanic neighborhoods (especially mott haven) and whose about 30% of the families are single mother households, with incredible levels of poverty

I was reacting to the fact that you said previously that asian, white and latino are more likely to support their children than blacks, which is false, that is all what I was trying to demonstrate with those numbers. To me it seems clear that it is determined by the level of education and economics, not ethnicity.

I guess you are not familiar with the issues that plague educated black women. The problem exists in other groups but not to the same degree. There are some good ones but the number is so small that it is negligible. It is a serious problem and blaming it on education and economics is a cop out. It has more to do with values than education. Values are taught at home. It is very difficult for a woman to teach a boy how to become a man. Haven't you heard the term "Black women raise their daughters but love their sons." ? I heard it from a white woman. They know exactly what is going on. The fear comes from knowing what may happen when the novelty wears off.

No woman wants to be characterized as being strong. It implies the woman is not worth being cared for. According to Essence, the number 1 characteristic black men like about black women is their strength. Really? What kind of nonsense is that? What does that say about them?

Dating interracially is probably more common than ever and in NYC probably more common than anywhere else in the U.S.
But it is certainly not the norm, nor will it be for a LONG time to come.

Many whites will not date blacks and vice versa. That's just the way it is. The usual reason is that there is no attraction.
But to the original poster, odds are good that if a woman is attracted to you, she will probably date you.

Educated black women will probably tend to date white guys from what I have seen especially since so many black guys end up in jail or drop out of school all together. I met a cute black chick the other night. She was in her early 30s and never married and no kids either, I was shocked. She told me she turned down marriage because she wanted to focus on her career. Then we started to talk about race, shes straight op AA and I'm a Guyanese guy that looks and sounds rican. Then she asked me about faith and that was tough to answer. I notice black women do love a lot of Jesus especially being southern heritage. She was to religious for me though but gosh I wish I can glaze her baptist backside.

that is definitely true, my wife is african and I can tell you she is deep into religion, although I'm an atheist, and sometimes it leads to a little scuffle. Those type of things (religion) takes so much part in people's life that you better think twice before dating a nun type girl.
