Too much grease/fat actually makes me feel sick. I can eat junk food every once in a while, but I always feel horrible afterwards. So, I don't touch corn dogs/hot dogs a whole lot, or funnel cakes, or anything like that, though I do love to go looking for au jus sandwiches with a side of fries and some iced tea every once in a while.

Spent the whole morning listening to goth rock/ goth metal on Pandora. Feels great.

Well there you go, you redeemed yourself! You still eat crap at the festivals!

I can't eat meat products at the festivals, no hot dogs, corn dogs, sausage...etc. My one vice is funnel cake because it's similar to zeppoli's (which if they have those, I get those instead). My grandfather used to make them all the time when we were kids.

I don't go to all that many festivals though...there's an art one that I go to but that's just once a year.

I don't ever go to fairs or carnivals or whatever anymore, I usually get my fix elsewhere. Now that I've been sorta teaching myself to cook, if I really want something, I just figure out how to do it myself.

But how else can one learn what breakthroughs have been made in deep-fried food on a stick?

You say hipster, I say discerning taste. I was drinking micro brew long before it was cool.

I'm funny about my funnel cake and only share with those I like. So if I tell you to get your own, guess what.
