I was dating this lady for a few weeks. All seemed to be going well. She saw one of my pics of my Ball Python on my Facebook page and all of a sudden calls me and tells me that she doesn't like snakes and that if she's ever going to live with me that I'll have to get rid of them. I asked her if she would rather me have a dog since dogs BARK and disturb everyone around them, they poop in the grass at the park, and they have fleas. She didn't seem to see the reasoning behind me asking this (Basic Mathematics seem to escape her) Anyway I've dated enough people in my life to know that relationships will come and go but my two snakes (A Ball and a Corn) will always be in my life. So if anyone wants her number you can have it b/c she's going to need someone new to date. BTW in case I didn't mention it, she doesn't like snakes.

Wow, what a spoiled, presumptuous little brat she is, eh? Glad you're dumping her.

How is that spoiled and presumptuous?

Looks like she was dating with the expectation of finding someone for a longterm relationship.

Just like the "I was dumped for dressing too sexy" thread, she realized that this wasn't going to workout long-term

And to the OP, what's dogs barking have to do with mathematics?

Well, good. She was letting you know what to expect should the relationship get more serious. Kudos to her for knowing (and letting it be known) what she wants.

Somewhere right now, maybe she's talking the same trash about you. How you "didn't seem to see the reasoning" behind the fact that dogs barking is their way of protecting your stuff from getting stolen, and that some of them will actually protect YOU as well.

Well it sounds like you've made up your mind. But come clean about one thing... They're actually a couple of CATS, aren't they?

What about trouser snakes? Will she make an exception for them?

I'm not a fan of snakes either.

Except for my snake. He doesn't bite though, just spits up.
