If you base your compatibility solely on food choices you need to get out more.

I'm glad that's what you got out of my post.

To flip the coin, there is nothing more annoying to us picky eaters than a foodie who is a pusher. If I don't want to eat something foreign to me, quit asking me to when I explicitly say no, and stop with the condescending "you need to broaden your horizons" crap. Huge pet peeve of mine.

I've dated men who ate just about anything and never had an issue. If he wanted to go to a restaurant with a certain cuisine, I went and found something that I would eat. So, to say that you would not be compatible with someone simply because they don't like adventurous food is really just an excuse. There are always compromises to be made. And in my last relationship, he introduced me to new foods that I found I really liked.

You may find someone compatible in that area but faltering somewhere else...I don't think there's a 100% match with anyone.

LMAO at the ridiculousness. So because someone doesn't like the same food as you you're not compatible? Craziness. Next, someone's not compatible because they don't like shopping.

I wouldn't leave someone because he wasn't adventurous with trying out various food dishes. I'm not a foodie and tend to like the same things over and over, but cooked in different ways.

My friend was dating guy that doesn't like the smell of meat or beef in his house. His roommate made the mistake of cooking a steak and he told him he had to leave. No second chances or anything, just that he would have to leave.

Sorry, but I consider this weird and over the top behavior (in addition to other things about him) and it explains why he doesn't have a girlfriend or when he gets one they wind up "breaking up" for some reason.

Dude is GORGEOUS, but has "issues".
