Do you plan to Single in your life with no kids ever? Your reasons?
I started co-habitiation with a woman when I was just past the age of 17 - all my life I have been with a female partner--on for a few years - one for 7 years - etc..and the last for almost 30 years...and the last few years- my bed is empty - still see the woman but this is the first time in my life I have been in a sense single - I learned a lot - but I would not wish this state on anyone...sure you get to know yourself - but as scripture says..."It is not good for a man to be alone" - as for kids - they just happened and I am so glad of that...my friends from the past - who did not mate - and have no kids - well - I would not want to be them - family is wealth and comfort and security - I believe that it is the best way to live...
The outlook and the outcome can often be very different though. When things are a certain way for a while, It can be hard to imagine something changing. Hang in there. I will try to take my own advice as I may wind up single ultimately myself. I do my best to resign to "The past is history and future's a mystery."
I often feel like there is something I am supposed to do, Like a road to go down, A path. It's been getting strong feeling wise too.
Mod cut: Orphaned. I'm 37 and I'm broke, trust me I can't get anywhere with women at all Mod cut.
I've realized money trumps looks 10 times over.
I also don't have a good circle of friends to do things with so I'm a bit if a loner.
The "outlook" isn't good at all.
37 is young. Broke can be fixed. Do you have kid(s)? Why not work on circle of friends and build a network? Only YOU can fix the stuff YOU can control. What did work for you? Your height? How is your diet and exercise habits?
I knew from a young age that I probably didn't want kids (I'm male). But this knowledge has hurt my relationship options progressively over the years. You either have to adopt another woman's kids or have them with her, which cuts your dating pool down 90% or more.
And even when I was thinking I might come around and go for the single moms, their seriousness, money-seeking behavior, and narrow-mindedness (mostly just concerned with their kids), was the ultimate turn-off, the anti-romance.
So if you don't want to be single guys, you're best off wanting kids.
There's women out there that don't have or want kids. You just have to find us!
