Maybe not having enough to live outside his parent's house, afford a car, pay bills, have enough to feed a girl on a date, buy her drinks, take her out, buy her stuff, etc.

Well you got of it right but yeah that's my example of broke. Of course you can find a car for cheap.
See, I'd think that there would be more sex, if anything. People are bored. Might as well find some way to pass the time. Sex is much better than sitting around getting drunk.

Sure. You can find a cheap car but this won't really help a man a lot compared to a nice man who drives a nice sporty cool expensive car. Sex is more challenging for men to get and even harder if they have no money as sex, in one way or the other, will cost a man money. If women prefer to be with men who are above their level, imagine the possibility of broke men to not only score but to also have sex.

I know what you means, all of us have more kids and it's mainly because we all have money issues and we are 35 to 40. It's very difficult for men without money you even meet a woman.
When I met my husband he lived at home with his mother and his older adult brother. After we married, we even lived with them for a few months. It was actually really great.
It's really all about mindset. He was brought up by an Asian mother overseas in various countries. In those other countries (unlike in America) it is totally normal and even expected that extended family live together under one roof. They do this for various reasons. The younder adults pursue university degrees and work to earn money while the older/elderly/retired adults stay home to take care of the home, cook, and help raise the grandchildren and in some cases great-grandchildren. Everyone benefits, and the family is able to save a lot more money than the average American family is able to save because they choose to live so efficiently.
An American family might save 20% of their earnings but spend 80%. In other countries... families spend 20% and save 80%. It's crazy!
Living that way is also great for the elderly people as well because instead of spending gobs of money being shut away at some unfeeling and sterile old-folks home - they are home with their family and given the respect and love they deserve, and they don't live day after day feeling neglected or isolated.
I think as Americans, our need or desire for independence trumps all else and at times this can be a negative thing. If we were to live more efficiently and get over our hangups (adults living at home with mom, dad, or grandma) everyone could benefit and we would be able to weather these tough economic times much better.
And sex? Sex is another hang-up Americans have that is really bizarre. We need to get over it.
Men don't meet women just for sex just like women don't meet men just to score freebies. The topic is just talking about how there seems to be less sex for men when it comes to bad economy.
