I'm a 34 year old male.

i NEVER want to have kids.

I work 50 plus hours a week and i'm not lazy when it comes to working etc.

but i value my personal time,

i want to be able to go back to grad school, move or travel when I want too with freedom.

I am still into childish things, like comic books, cartoons, star trek etc.

My cat is enough work for me.

Is this wrong? weird?

How could it be selfish? Being selfish means you are putting your own needs before others, but if you don't have kids, you don't have the "others" to consider. You can't exhibit selfishness towards something that does not exist, right? Hell, I share many of your same feelings. I have no interest in having kids. I'd rather spend my time and money on myself.

Enjoy yourself and don't worry about it! Many people should have thought this through before having kids.

It's your life. Why should it be selfish to live it has you want too?

No. Not everyone should be married, and not every married couple should have children.

Do you seriously care what others think? Is it that important to have the approval of the rest of the world? Who the hell cares, live YOUR life the way YOU want to live it.

Having kids is overrated. Do what makes sense to you.
