I generally find girls who are on the thin/atheletic-to-curvaceous end of the spectrum attractive. However, I've known a few girls who became much more attractive to me after they put some weight on, and I've also known girls who have lost weight and in the process, became less attractive to me. A girl I know now, for instance: I've known her for about six months. She's very naturally shapely, with wide hips and thighs, and she's actually done a very admirable job of losing weight lately (she's in her early 20's, had a child, and is now single again and trying to get back in shape to date). She was never chunky or chubby at all, and looked very hot, but her thinner physique is actually less flattering to her natural figure.

It really does just depend on the woman and how she wears it.
Definitely. I hate the whole obsession with thin, thankfully it's reversing. Some people are of course naturally thinner than others, but the number of women counting calories is probably as bad as the number putting on the pounds. Give me a girl who just eats healthy, eats what she likes in moderation, exercises and has a healthy BMI. Nothing sexier than an appetite on a woman.

To the OP, weight is a deal breaker to me. Women who don't care about the way they look obviously aren't the kind of people I want to date.

A person's health and fitness level is extremely important to me, so I would have to say....absolutely YES.

Yes. Physical activity is a big part of my lifestyle plus I'm just not really attracted to overweight women. That is not so say I'd break up with someone for gaining weight. We all go thru phases where we gain weight due to a hectic schedule or stress. I just don't want to be with someone who doesn't care about their health or appearance.

I think there is a big double standard here because if I don't show interest in a woman because she's 5'3" 220 I'm a superficial pig but if a woman won't date me because I am 5'9 that is perfectly acceptable (and it is BTW, her choice).

Not necessarily. Two things matter: 1) proportion: if a slightly chubby person is also tall, then chances are I would still consider him sexy. 2) attitude: whenever a person acts like he is way more attractive than he really is, it's a turn off
