the issue of sex is going to come up. But the truth is that I haven't had sex since my last boyfriend because I no longer want to do the random hookup thing, which I did quite a few times in my early 20s and learned it wasn't for me. So the thing is, I haven't had sex in about 4 years, which I'm not dying to admit to anyone, especially a guy that I'm involved with.
It's not as if I couldn't have had sex - I had opportunities, but they would've been emotionless hookups. Besides, with STDs and unplanned pregnancies, I just didn't want to put myself in that position. So anyway, what are guys going to think of an early 30s woman, who's attractive, not having had sex in so long? Even though I don't regret my choice of not sleeping with any of the guys I could have, I don't like to admit that it's been so long.
I'd be pretty happy that you weren't a slave to your sex drive. You don't have to admit anything if you don't want to. Though, you can probably weed out a lot of jerks by letting them know you're not in it for the sex. (at least not for a while)
I don't blame you at all. I'm a guy and I share this stance. Hell, I wonder what women think about guys who haven't in a long time, if it's been their choice. I could only assume most women are going to think, "What's wrong with him? He's not normal."

True. Attractice women can get sex anytime from just about any guy. She is looking for something she has trouble getting which is what she wants. They want a relationship.
