I see that over and over on dating profiles. My favorite one is: "I may not reply back, not because I don't want to but because I don't have time".

Why are you on a dating website? Or are some people just so full of themselves?

Could be a warning that you won't see them much or it could be their way of saying "I want someone who will work around my schedule".

I deleted my OKC account on Tuesday.

I was on there 5 months and it was mostly a bad experience. No more dating web sites for me!

As far as the topic - yes, I have seen that multiple times before.

LOL, I didn't!

I added the "multiple times" because I did see that often.

That sums it up, regardless of gender: online dating is a meatmarket.

People are more than happy to pass up people that they would jump at the chance to date in real life because they're positive that there's someone hotter than hell who is going to email them, just around the bend.

I don't understand why after you have 5-10 positive exchanges and you bring up interest in going out on a date I get accused of moving too fast. This happened to me several times. The last time was Monday and I decided I had enough.

I'm not a good pen pal. no interest in that whatsoever.

People saying that you move to fast is usually their way of saying they aren't interested anymore. I had a girl message me once and she said "I see you live near me. We should totally hang out some time." So we did hang out...then maybe two weeks later after talking, for some unknown reason she tells me that I was moving too fast. Didn't really make sense to me because she was the one that instantly wanted to hang out without even knowing me.
