I've never been to a club, so my experience is limited to my high school proms and a couple of weddings. Basically I'm a wallflower. I'm either standing on the side watching or sitting at the table awkwardly drinking a beverage. I did do some dancing with my dates at my proms, but I'm simply not much of a dancer. Maybe I'm just too much of a conservative stiff.

I guess I'll have to force myself to a club one of these days though.

When it comes to dancing at clubs I've learned not to expect any thing from anyone. I do this with every thing now. When you pursue love, it's like a dog chasing his tail: you just end up going in circles for ever. I now just have a good time where ever I am and what ever I am doing. I LOVE TO DANCE!!!~ I wear bright yellow pants and I don't shave. I dance how ever I am feeling at the moment, whether I feel like shaking my hips or doing the Moon-Walk or even doing a one-handed handstand, I do it and I love every second of it!~ If when I am doing some thing I love a person comes up to me and wants to get to know me more, then great!~ If they decide later they are no longer interested, fine no problem.~ It's all good.~

May I suggest... BALLROOM DANCING!!!
It's freaking awesome. It's great brain exercise, it's structured so you know what you have to do, it's fun, and it looks good on the dance floor.
Learn Salsa and merengue for the inevitability that you'd dance it/all our hispanic immigrants. Hustle for modern pop in nightclubs. And swing because it's its own scene and fun in its own right.
