I think people who moan do it for show.
My mom says people don't moan like that during sex in real life.
My older sister used to disrespect my family when we visited her by moaning when her and her husband had sex. My mom said that was disrespectful because she had visitors.

And yes, your sister does sound disrespectful to me. When I have company at my house or when I am staying at someone else's house, if I have sex, I keep it as quiet as possible. I generally try not to broadcast the fact that I am having sex.....

Not only can it be construed as disrespectful if the wrong person hears it can become embarrassing. Two of my good friends were roommates in college. My one friend had his girlfriend over one night and I guess they were louder than they wanted to be. In the heat of the moment my friends girlfriend yells out "Oh Jeff this is a slice of heaven".
Unknown to my friend that has been a source of laughs for the rest of us guys for years as my friend ended up marrying that girl. If we are eating pizza, this is not a slice of pizza "it's a slice of heaven".
