There's a weird thing I see A LOT on women's profiles, I've seen it on dozens of profiles. It says "do not contact me if you don't know the difference between your/you're". What kind of mental patient wouldn't date someone because they use incorrect grammar when typing. Some women are seriously looney and there is a good reason why that type of woman is single. I would avoid women who type something like that like the plague.
"Average" should not be used if you are overweight. "Average" means that you are neither underweight or overweight - it's not intended to be used as an indicator of a mathematical mean average.

While I would never write something like that on a profile, if a man were to message me using ridiculously improper grammar or substituting letters for words (u instead of you, r instead of our or are etc.) then his message goes in the junk folder.
Perhaps it's just a quirk I have, but its really really irritating to me and screams 'I'm unintelligent and lazy!!!'. Mistakes are fine, we all make mistakes, but deliberate laziness when it comes to having a conversation isn't okay.

Oh, god. I just thought of another one that seemed to be rife in men's profiles:
"I met my last girlfriend on (Match.com), but we broke up, so here I am again!"
Yes. Please let the rest of the dating population know that you are a total tool. Is this relevant information, and if so, what exactly does it convey? "Them's good fishin' on here online dating service!"
me too ...... my ex used to spend all his free time at the house naked. it drove me nuts. I think it had a little to do with the divorce.
