First off, a wife should not be considered in such a derogatory manner. That's the language of man-children.
Secondly, the phrase is being used wrong. It's not that you take "man" advice about "man business" before listening to the wife. It is that you don't give up your friends just because you're with someone.
Thirdly, if a "man" is adhering 100% to the advice of his wife instead of doing things as a partnership then kvetching about the result? All it says is that said person sounds more like man-child than an actual man.
Anyone who even uses the expression Mod edit: "bros first" probably shouldn't be married to begin with. That expression usually isn't used by any man past 18, unless they have severe maturity issues.

I never put anyone before Mrs. Lao, but I also dont solicit her advice on business of "MEN".
Not sexest at all. I usually tell her what I am going to do and if she wants to make a comment she can, but that doesnt mean I am going to do what she says.

Haha, this is silly. No, Mod edit: "bros first" doesn't exist after getting married. And calling someone's wife a Mod cut: orphaned. should get you punched. Other than that, I don't see some of those things mentioned in the OP as a wife butting in and ruining her husband's plans. Maybe she shouldn't get involved with with whatever is going on with Matt and Scott, but putting their kids first should be common sense and just plain old good parenting. Even though I'm not married, I see it as involving a lot of compromise, for both spouses.
I have no plans on ever getting married, but I have a quite a few friends who have. I've seen this happen with plenty of them, they don't know how to take a dominant role of being a man in their relationship. I think it's great to have a supportive woman in your life but Mod cut; gender bashing.

If that is your viewpoint, then no, you should not get married.
When you marry, 'you forsake ALL others'. There is room for friendship, but no one can come between man and wife.
