People can do whatever they want. I have friends in interracial relationships and marriages, but over 90% of them are hooked up with someone very demographically similar.
I'd be racist if I restricted my friends by racial or ethnic criteria. But I don't. My friends are all over the checkerboard in terms of ethnicity/race/religion. But, again, those are FRIENDS. My Persian, Arab and Japanese friends taught me all the dirty words in their languages.
I can't help if I'm only attracted to light-skinned brunettes with more refined/less ethnic facial features. It's always been that way. In America, that's a very large slice of the pie. When someone pointed out a "hot blonde" in SoCal, my reaction was "big deal," though I understand society deems them to be the "gold standard." They're WHITE, so then how is this racist? It's more a question of taste palette, and its range.
That's why they have three kinds of salsa at Mexican restaurants...to accommodate patrons' different tastes.
All the indignant people on this thread tend to be either "non-white" or overly politically correct. When someone tells you that you should find everyone under the sun attractive, that's PC...as well as ridiculous and intrusive. Sorry.
French actress Sophie Marceau's look is a good one. "Bon chance" (French for "good luck"). I know what's reasonable and what isn't. LOL.
