There's a band playing that I want to hear and I have no one to go with, as my friends have flaked on me. It's Saturday night, at a bar and grill type place and starts at 9:30. Would you go by yourself?
Go! You will regret you didn't. But, I understand your reluctance as a woman; I was shy and afraid of how to act and be alone when I was in my 20's.....(as I am assuming you might be). Go and forget what others think and just enjoy the music. Everyone else there will be there for the same reason. I have had the best times doing things i love alone. I remember when I first went into a bar all by my lonesome and ordered a beer and listened to my favorite rock billy band. There was a well known local blues singer who came and sat with me and we enjoyed each others company all night.
No I would never go to a bar alone. Dinner or movie yes.
