This is a non-starter..Firstly gay men almost never compliment straight men. Also- respectful gay men behave themselves around straight men. Gay men who come on to straight males with "compliments" are usually weasels. Respect is paramount...if the people who are interacting have class.
I don't take compliments from gay men because I'm not flattered at all nor should I be. I'm not flattered when a girl I deem to be unattractive compliments me. I don't care because it does nothing for me. I won't bite his head off but I will ignore him and remove myself from being near him if that is a possibility.
From what I understand - the white rhino or prize for some gays is to get intimate with a straight man...They consider that the highest form of gay seduction...Some assume that gays go after gays only. Personally I find the whole idea predatory. Of course I will get called a phobe because I find a gay advance intrusive. There is no other reason for a "compliment" other than there being ulterior motives. I suspect this thread has been invented to satisfy some sort of fantasy - on the part of gay men who HOPE to interact with straight men in an intimate fashion...You have to look at the sub text of the thread. Yeah it's more exciting for them to recruit someone that is straight then someone who is already gay. Just like when I recruit for fetish activities it's more of a turn on to have a girl come over who has never heard of the lifestyle versus someone who is a domintrax
