Hanging with a friend of mine, she was starting to brush her daughters hair. Then she sat in front of me and said, "Will you play with my hair?" At first I thought it was weird, but I obliged her.
I'm just wondering, does it really feel that good to play with women's hair? My aunt, my cousin, both my sisters like it, pretty much all my friends (girls) like it. However, my daughter doesn't. Then again, she's really energetic and can't sit down long enough to really enjoy it.
What is it that makes it feel good? The people above have said it feels like a message..., I just don't understand.
Next time you get your hair cut, don't go to a barber who will just use clippers. Go to a unisex salon where they wash your hair. Then you might understand.

My hairdresser knows that for me, the couple of minutes he spends washing and conditioning my hair is the highlight of my day. It is VERY relaxing.
This gadget is phenomenal...just need someone else to do it to you because you can't use it on yourself:
I love when someone plays with my hair, it is very relaxing, especially if it's a female with longer nails...LOVE that!
My husband just likes to yank the knots out of my head, so I have cut him off!
Another one that gets me completely zoned out is having my nails done. I'm not sure what it is, but when I get a manicure I feel myself getting spacy.
