But when you say this above, you don't come off any better than these guys you criticize. You don't want to date black men, but you assail these men's point of view for being the same way? Doesn't make sense to me.
I don't care if they prefer to date interracially- I'm just saying that I don't buy this particular "I was rejected" excuse. I personally don't need an excuse or sob story to date interracially. I do it because I want to. The end.
I've always been curious about this topic. Have you have ever been rejected by women of your own so many times, that you just decided its not worth it anymore. Growing up, I was attracted to black women, but was constantly rejected. Once I got to college, I just decided i'm done. I basically just stuck with white women because they showed me love. I'm married to a white woman, so I can say my decision paid off. Have you ever been in that situation?
Did you marry a race, or an individual?
If you think you married a race, you've got a problem, because you don't marry a race you marry an individual.
Same goes with dating. You date an individual and not a race. If 1000 people of a "race" reject you, and you decide I'm going to date someone from "Group L", you have a problem because you're being exclusive by only dating people of a specific group.
Un-evolved people cannot think outside of their skin/race/ethnicity, and believe that behavior, and how they are received by others of a particular group is dependent on "racial" reasons.

Why don't you buy it? It could very well be the case that they are telling the truth. I do agree that that is no excuse NOT to date a certain type of person.

I just think they most likely used a very limited sample of women to make their "Black women won't give me the time of day but white women love me!" claims.
Haven't met anyone from there. Where I live we pretty much only have Nigerians, Ethiopians and people from Ghana.
Last week when I was out of town a guy from Togo started hitting on me. His opening line "are you from Africa?"
I definitely had better luck when I left town...so many more pick-up attempts than usual, from much better people. The dumbest line was "where are you headed?" (Not so bad) Then, "what's your name? Followed closely by are you married and what's your phone number?"
I just want to know if they have a library card because they may have recently checked out The Story of O. Well, that and if they like real sea noise over model railroad sound effects. In the latter case it doesn't matter if they have a husband or not.
Ok I will be the one to say it. Excluding the cream of the crop black men - wealthy athletes, businessmen, actors etc - the average black man who goes for white women date ugly, fat chicks. Lisa lampanelli's whole comedy schtick is based on this. You see black men with ugly white women all of the time. (excpet for the top alpha black men, they will only date hot chicks and can date whoever they want) Curiously, when you see a white man with a black women, she is going to be hot 90% of the time. Why is this? Status dating. This plays heavily in the world of white men/asian women too.

When you call it, it's fine. When we do, it's not. That's the way hypocrisy works.

Maybe the famous people, not the average everyday couples. I know more than a few BF/WM couples and I find them to be pretty close in looks. WM I work with has a black wife, both a little nerdy but middle of the road for looks. My rockin roll friend whose lanky has a black girlfriend whose also tall and lanky, also middle of the road. Mexican guy that hangs out at my favorite pub has a short rolly polly black girlfrind and he looks like Mario Lopez.
