And I thought I could finish a movie date under 35 bucks. It became 60. I keep hoping the women would draw their wallets after the 4th or 5th dates and none.
Hate mohawks? The reason I like mine is because my hair grows funny, I have two of those whirly things where my hair grows out of instead of one and the result is that it makes my hair poof out on the sides (which I HATE) when it gets long enough.

What drove the price up?
I'm cheap...we go to the dollar store and get candy before we go to the movie and I smuggle in drinks as well.

Combo #1 large pop corn and 2 drinks, that itself was like 17 bucks. Then two tickets, then grabbed a sandwich dinner. I mean, I wished she would at least "try" to put something in. She never said a word.
I'm supposed to go into new york today to meet another today. I'm gonna cite work and deflect.

Yanno, we went to the movies yesterday. $10 each for the movie, and then 10.50 for one drink and one small popcorn (we share!). That's just over $30 for 2 hours in a movie theater. It's ridiculous, and it's why we don't go to the movies very often anymore. I usually buy a bottled soda and make popcorn to take in, but I forgot this time. I won't the next time.
I read all this crap about how the movie studios are so concerned about the fact that the theaters so rarely fill up anymore...well DUH. Look at the damn prices. Everyone is making a killing...off the consumer.

This reputation thing is way up my head. Losing respect and being deemed cheap is worse. You do it coz you are married and your husband won't mind, right? It's your husband after all
