Thanks for not coming right out and saying I'm not one of them.

If I'm in a pinch there's nowhere else to go other than a bar.

I'm sitting in a meeting today at work, It was three of us from my company and one customer.

We're sitting in his office... It was a fairly large office, he had pics of his family and various awards from industry organziations... we're sitting there and my coworkers and this guy are all all talking about their kids, some of the conversations were inspired by the customers pics of his daughter at various swim meets.

She looked like a pleasant enough young girl, probably 16 or so, competing in swim "meets", or "matches" or what ever they are called.

One of my coworkers son is involved with swim, so the conversation went off from there, each parent proudly listing all of the various events and meets that each one was involved in.

This is all fine. I have no children so I was as mute as a church mouse. But, like I said, fine, It's all good, the customer was spouting off how he wanted to give us so much business etc etc etc.

There was this strange thing that happened thought.

Were sitting there, we were waiting for another person to show up and while were sitting there the conversation slowed... it died.... we're all sitting there.. feeling awkward... The feeling awkward lead to more strangeness.... It was just strange. It was like something out of a bad Saturday night skit.

It was about the most awkward 2 minutes of my life. I'm not exaggerating. I don't know what the f happened to the flow of things.

The two guys I was with could get a monk with a vow of silence to talk.....

Weird.

Finally this other guy showed up and the silence was broken..

Good God what a weird and awkward as azz situation.

LOL... it was almost funny....
