No, no one likes a miser, man or woman, but it's nothing to do with being miserly it's the principle of the matter.

I've already said I wouldn't mind paying, just not for someone who EXPECTS that kind of treatment simply because they were born with two X chromosomes.

Honestly I thought we'd progressed from the caveman days.

I don;t recall hearing about any 90 day rule, but I wouldn;t be shocked What's with all the rules these days anyway? Shouldn't good communication, decency, common courtesy, and plain old common sense be enough? What's with the hostility on BOTH sides?? I know it's PC to only acknowledge the CDF males that are bitter, whiny (fill in insult of choice here) but I see it go both ways. Do the genders really hate each other THAT much in the real world, or is it mostly here?

Stick with what you believe in, Doll. Even if it seems 'peculiar', you won't be sorry.

Mostly here. :P

Either that or I'm really lucky to be dating a woman with as much of those traits you mentioned as myself. There's no "90 day rule", no "man pays for everything" nor a "90 day rule on my wallet".

Yea that's what I'm doing and that's a big reason why I had remained single. LOL. But I don't care, I'd rather take that over doing things I'm uncomfortable doing for somebody else's peace of mind.

+1. I'm a man. I'm lazy. I don't cook unless if we have dinner parties. Hence, I always jump on a dinner date opportunity and I pay. In return, when she wants to stay in...she makes dinner almost every time.

Did gramps also happen to say real women should stay at home cooking, cleaning and looking after the children?

And real women don't equate men with money. Grandma will go home with Grandpa..we might not have sex...just go to bed...watch tv...kiss, snuggle, and go to sleep.

Reading these messed up threads is really hilarious....gee...are there any normal folk who just have fun? Dating is not about money or sex....it is having a nice time with another person....and I can do that...not spending money...or having sex....
