Nope, I saw the ones that Julia posted as well and commented on them like those who did say "I would pay" but continued "...until the relationship is a long and committed". Look at the recent ones too.

If women say that the men who don't spend are them are cheap. How do they call themselves for refusing to chip in?

All these women did not say 'men are cheap.' I did. I don't know how they 'call themselves for refusing to chip in?' But I do know, if I were dating with as big a deal as you've made out of this & if it's common thinking for other men too: Forget it!! I would rather cook dinner at home for myself or go out to eat alone. I wouldn't want to be so much trouble for a damn meal. LOL.

The Dissenter,
Women like Stan4 who don't mind spending money on men (right from the start), and don't play gender cards are hard to find. What's so wrong about her being like that?

European women are generally more advanced in this regard. There's more true equality between the sexes there, at least in Western Europe.
No, American women do not like competition. I have known tons of guys with wives from Columbia, Brazil, Australia, the Netherlands, etc and they are all very happy. American women don't like it one bit.

For whatever reason, American women are very money and status oriented and that is just the way it is. When I dated Australian, Kiwi, Argentinian and Brazilian women, money and what you could do for them was never the #1 topic on table.

With American women, even those I see married, the constant questions are:

1. What are you buying me?
2. How much cash can you give me?
3. Where are you taking me for dinner, holiday, etc?
4. When are we going?

And pretty much, every day, day after day, the only thing they ever think of is money/security and your time.

And I think all women are like that, everywhere. Their lives and their emotional makeup is all about "security", which is basically money. However in the USA a lot of people get TOO caught up in all of this and it brings out the worst in women.

The main rule I have is the $40 rule and also I just avoid situations where I am going to have to put money down. I'm not going shopping with them or eating at nice places or anything like that.

I personally do not mind treating people and being the generous spender sometimes, but I learned the hard way and any women you are "dating" or just getting involved with, be smart and do not go there. Take the issue off the table entirely and control your own wallet and emotions.

It isn't 1897 or 1957 anymore. Women are working or should be working and they need to pay their own way or reciprocate and if they don't they know where the door is. To me these dinner whores that you have to wine and dine and entertain with "dinner and drinks" and buy em little gifts, you may as well go hire an escort and not fool yourself.

See, men are cheap for not spending their money on women. Women who donít spend their money on men sounds confusing, canít see anything wrong with that, right?

There are lots of women who make a big deal about men who donít spend their money on them. Me, I am not talking about men being the ones who just sit there. I prefer to have things revolve around BOTH, not just me. I guess I am a bit more balanced instead of expecting things to revolve around me and so do the women I date. Cultural differences I guess.

Sure. You can do that or take a man out for dinner, right? Itís not like you will expect him to have sex for it I suppose.

And you have not read those who say that they only would if they are in a long commited relationship, those who feel a man should pay to show he's serious, etc. are you ignoring those?
It is our culture and custom as it is for many countries for a man to pay for dating. Just accept it and stop trying to shame the more traditional women for holding on to custom. Some women keep these traditions for what ever their reason or no reason and some do not. You act as tho it is a purely American custom, but from what I have read it is common in many countries, and yes even Japan.

What waiting game? What 90-day "rule"?? Who dates by formulas?

Then take other men out for dates then you can both fistfight over who pays the bill. I'm done.
