I think women can be pretty detached when it comes to sex. For some, it's a "bargaining chip," when dating, and even when married, to get what they want in material terms. Some women have these INTENSE feelings, and can shut them down at a moment's notice. Most men can "dumb it down" - they are typically less emotionally invested, and smartly so.

C'mon, Ivory, take a chance! Don't be so complicated

What if women could step away from that, have sex and not necessarily have emotional attachments, but rather, to fulfill a need.

Thoughts?
To get down to it, a woman's sexuality, and her sex organs, are a highly prized commodity. Therefore, women are not going to just have sex with any guy, and women are not going to be giving sex away for nothing.

This is the basis as to why getting sex from woman is so difficult. Women are always trying to get something in exchange for letting you have sex with them, so they're never going to be as free spirited as a guy would.

Get OVER yourselves, you guys!

Notice, btw, that men don't really want women to be "free spirited". Free-spirited women are called "sl*ts" (have you read the last few pages?) Men like to have a sense of exclusivity over these "commodities", so they don't like to think that any Tom, D*ck or Harry has had free access to them. (Remember the guy who kept posting complaints about women "sharing themselves"? Thank heaven he's gone.) It's about male ownership and control.

It goes both ways. A woman's body produces natural lubricant that winds up all on us and even inside our bodies if we engage in oral sex.

With all due respect, you're a prude and I'm just shocked that you view sex in such a negative light. Really, how do you think YOU got here? Ummm, maybe a man deposited sperm inside your mother?

I agree with you on this.

As a woman who has tried having sex without emotional attachments, its pretty easy.
I get to have sex with 10's when I'm a 2(in looks).
But do you know who wanted to form emotional attachements 99% of the time? The men,not me.

Something you said was silly.
Men could get all the sex in the world from their wives, and they still would cheat, get a prostitute, etc.

Yea, I agree with you on that. I hate how guys chastise the women who are more open about sex, but at the same time complain that they can't get none; they don't seem to understand the correlation.

Men can't win either.

If a man wants sex "Oh my gawd, all men are the same. They are dogs and think with their penis".

If a man doesn't want sex "Oh my gawd, he's homosexual, cheating, doesn't like me, he's not a real man".

Nothing would change. Women would still hold out for the man who could provide to most, or for the man who is the most useful to her at the moment. BTW, pregnancy was removed from the table as soon as birth control was invented (though it does not always work)!

Good rebuttal to an all too typical female polarized point of view on sex.
