Yes, here it is. "I tried not to joke about it..."
Now you're crying?
Nobody's trying to "out" you. You have issues, dude. Very, very big ones. Your wife may or may not have issues (how do we know what really happened from her perspective...or what really happened at all?). But that is neither here nor there. Get help. Now. Seriously.

Joking about something only speculated doesn't equal laughing at your wife nearly dying, at the pregnancy actually being lost, and it being active & concrete.
It was only speculated, and something detached then. It was a big unknown.
Today it was close, real, and nearly cost my wife her life. And we were given a date (today..) when it actually happened..
Huge difference. Ones haunting & present, and the other is detached and lost in the past.
"Treatment for compulsive liars involves therapy and a lot of work outside of the therapist's office. Is it possible to break the cycle of lying? Yes, but it's extremely difficult to break the addiction to the attention that the lying garners, and here is the root of the problem. The liar will have to actually admit to having a problem with lying. Since this strikes at the person's self-esteem, some find it impossible to do.
No one can force a compulsive liar to get help. This is a decision that each person has to make for his or herself."

Oh my dear...if only you knew what is up the road. I feel sorry for you, you seem to have no idea at all the work and time that will be involved in repairing a marriage as damaged as yours to a woman as mentally ill as your wife. If it can even be done.
